Quen+bombs=cheese?
Quen+bombs=cheese?
I noticed that bombs are kinda awesome in TW2. Mostly because each explosion sort of knocks the target off balance for a bit and you can basically bomb most anyone into oblivion. Besides, the bomb ehancing talent is in the first tier of its tree, so any spec can get it (and I consider it a must if you wanna powergame ). I never go anywhere without at at least 50 grape bombs in my pack. Cheese or not?
Hey, even if it is cheese, cheese goes well with grapes, as long as it's not camambert or gorgonzola!

Gorgonzola (the city from where the cheese come) is near Milan where I live:laugh:
I haven't tried a single bomb during the game, but I want to try again with a different approach..There are barely enough skill point during the game to complete a single line (sword magic or potions) so what I choose I kept on growing, to have a consistent improvement at least in one of these, my first game I choose swords, and never needed anything else, and that kills a bit the game..
I want to try a much higher difficulty, my fear is that will result in frustrating fighting instead of a need for tactics..
Gorgonzola, salami and toasted bread, the food for the Kings!!

I took the magic path, but I didn't feel the need to upgrade all my talents in that tree, since I very rarely used Aard or Axii for example. Mostly I relied on Quen (which is like a must for any spec I think) and Igni and, of course, Heliotrope when available. But grapeshot bombs were a big help as well, you should try them out (and with just 2 talent points you can make all your traps and bombs twice more powerful).
