OOC: my latest rolls are based on the assumption that I had been wrong in my calculations.. so the latest rolls I used +6 attack and it should be +5...

The New Initiative order is-
Nordak- 15 ++
Warlock- 15 +
Shile- 15
Gu'Dan- 10
Jeronis- 7

if you're wondering what the ++ and + is, 3 people tied with a 15. The way I do tie breakers, which is the actual rules-

Nordak has the highest of the three because it's a natural 15 as opposed to a 14 plus 1.

Shile and The Warlock both have a +1, to save time I rerolled initiative for both of them. This new roll ONLY counts for them, not for the whole order. Shile got a 9, and the Warlock got a 15, so out of the two the Warlock went first.

If it ever happens that two players have the exact same initiative roll (note, not the same roll as in 14+1 = 15 and 15+0 = 15, but the EXACT same roll, initiative modifier and all), I will reroll the two for you. This is one of the very few player rolls I make myself, mostly to save on time but also because it's an involuntary roll.

Anyway, all we're waiting on now is Nordak and potentially Allexa.

EDIT: Oh, and Mal. Don't attack the skeletons. They've been obliterated by the turning.

OOC: Is it too late to declare dodge on the warlock? I forgot I had to select an active target :( I understand if I lose the bonus this go.

Allexa shadowed the dwarf quietly, looking to see where he was actually going. What she saw was the bunch of them attacking a deathly old wizard. A necromancer apparently, judging from the skeletons in the room. For a moment she thought that her fears about Gu'dan being after her purse were confirmed, but after she figured in the skeletons it seemed less likely. She didn't know what was going on really, but she knew for sure that necromancers were very bad news.
1d20+3
11+3 = 14
She pulls out a bow, and grabs an arrow so that she can nock it and aim it at the old man's head.

Initiative Order-
Nordak- 15 ++
Warlock- 15 +
Shile- 15
Allexa- 14
Gu'Dan- 10
Jeronis- 7

~Will Save Fail. Shile is utterly crushed by the wave of sadness engulfing her. She takes a -2 to attack, damage, saving throws, ability checks and skill checks for 12 minutes. Her arrow manages to still pierce the warlock, but it does significantly less damage as the sadness causes her to jar the crossbow to the shoulder as opposed to the chest where she aimed.

~Allexa, slowed by the drug, fumbles around trying to notch her arrow with her shaky hands and aims it at the Warlock.

~Gu'Dan invokes the pantheon to banish these undead. Surprisingly, he manages to destroy all four Skeletons with this single attack. (@Treblin: check my post in the original campaign info thread about turn undead from now on).

~Will Save Fail. Jeronis is also crushed by the sadness, taking a -2 penalty to attack, damage, saving throws, ability checks, and skill checks. He still manages to hit the warlock with both attacks but it seems he is immune to sneak attacks.

~Will Save Fail. Nordak is also crushed by the sadness, taking a -2 penalty to attack, damage, saving throws, ability checks, and skill checks. Your attacks finally seemed to make contact, indicating he's not that agile, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to pierce his armor.

~The Warlock, surrounded by Jeronis, Nordak and Gu'Dan laughs at you all, "HA! You are weak and pitiful. My finger has more glitter on it!!! You will fear me." He holds his finger which begins to shine with a black substance, and that black liquid-like substance explodes out from him hitting you three.

You each need to make two will saves. If you have any bonuses against fear effects, include it in the second roll.

With his weapons still out Jeronis takes his five foot step backwards away from the warlock. If the warlock follows (AoO for Nordak?) then Jeronis will attack with his weapons again:

Attack lightmace, masterwork-d20 + 5 = 17 + 3 (2base + 1mw +3 dex -2warlock +1 size -2 TWF) = 20
Attack dagger, masterwork- d20 + 5 = 16 + 3 = 19
Damage lightmace, mw = d4 + 1(draconic) = 6 + 1 - 2 = 5
Damage dagger, mw = 1d3 + 1(draconic) = 2 + 1 -2 = 1

IF THE WARLOCK DOES NOT FOLLOW 5 FEET BACKWARDS:

prepares a splash weapon with lamp oil

Initiative Order-
Nordak- 15 ++
Warlock- 15 +
Shile- 15
Allexa- 14
Gu'Dan- 10
Jeronis- 7

~Shile-

You quickly reload your crossbow for another attempt at shooting the warlock but it seems exceptionally hard to do so with allies covering most of the warlocks body. Your shot unfortunately misses.

~Allexa-

Still being slowed by the drug, you try in vain to shoot the warlock, but the arrow slips right on by. Thankfully, a few of you notice that she's actively trying to hit only the warlock, an indication that despite her absent memories, she's willing to give you a little more curteousy than this dreadful fiend.

~Gu'Dan-

Will Save Success and Fail. You manage to shrug off the most of the life draining effect but still take 6 damage and are Shaken.

You manage to damage him severely, and cripple his movement as well with your flurries, all of them hitting thanks to your flank.

~Jeronis-

(@Claudius- This is not how combat works. You cannot ready an action, i.e. prepare to attack the warlock if he follows you, and have actions during your turn, it's one or the other. Since it's not the warlocks turn yet though, I'm going to assume you move back and draw the pint of oil).

Will Save Fail and Fail- You succumb to the life draining effects of the blackness, taking 12 points of damage and you are Shaken.

You move back and draw a pint of oil from your bag.

~Nordak-

Will Save Fail and Fail. You feel your life force literally being drained right out of you and replaced by a big black emptiness pouring over your being. You take 12 points of damage and are Shaken.

Thankfully though you finally manage to hit him and deal a substantial amount of damage. As you cleave his left shoulder, there is now an open gap in between his shoulder blade and arm, literally making the arm flail and dangle about. The pain does not seem to affect him, but you know for a fact that he's severely wounded.

~The Warlock is now flustered it seems. "I...I will NOT lose my creation in my death!!! You will succumb to my flamboyant defiling or I will murder your mothers and rape your fathers!!!"

In a last ditch effort, he casts one more spell and a darkness floods the wine cellar and begins running off. Everyone gains a 20% miss chance from concealment.

@Nordak and Gu'Dan- Make attacks of opportunities for me and remember to include the 20% miss chance. Roll a D100 on the SRD and anything 20 and below misses.

@Everyone else, let Nordak and Gu'Dan post the AOO's first before any combat opportunities. This may kill him if they manage to hit.
