OOC: Busy weekend with the kids sorry for the lack of posting.

IC: @ Nordak, "I do what the blessings of Skia allow me to do. Your wounds look quite nasty, I can aid you in that. As far as the pint, I will accept.

@Allexa - "I told you myself and the others mean you no harm, we are friends. I will continue researching a way to restore your memory which has been maliciously erased.

@All - "I cannot believe we have located the Midnight Owl, my Master will be quite pleased. We must find a way to get him out of there.

"The pleasures of a mans possessions does not interest me perhaps others could make use of the plunder.

Gu'dan walks over to Nordak reaching out to lay his hands upon his wounds.
(Converting Inhibit (lvl 1) into cure light wounds)

Spotting Jeronis' bleeding wounds Gu'dan makes his way over.

Allexa watched the group for a moment, waiting for someone to take up Shile's offer. "Waste not, want not, I suppose." She said, making her way unsteadily toward Shile. "A mithril chain shirt isn't going to do him much good where he's going, anyway." She said as she stamped her foot on his crotch on the way there, hoping to hear a hip bone shatter. "Damned Necromancers..." She spat.

"I do have a rope, master halfling, but it won't give you a sliver of hope of freeing him" She takes the chain shirt in her hand, holding it out appraisingly. "Unless those chains that have him held down are made of stale peanut brittle, of course. But then even if he wasn't bound to the floor, he'd weigh far more under that gravitational pull than any of us could ever pull."

Allexa let out an exasperated sigh. "Nero's rage! Why does everyone think I know what's going on upstairs?! Honestly, if you're so concerned with it you should go up yourself, instead of asking me about places I've never been to."

Nordak smiles down at the dwarf looking a tad better,

Thank you master dwarf! Thank you. I feel that I regained part of my former strength. I can hardly await we sit down at a table and enjoy a meal. All this action got me hungry somehow.

Nordak shakes his head clearly dissatisfied with Allexa's approach in solving the situation,

Well if you have any constructive ideas please speak out, otherwise you can keep the negative comments to yourself. We intend to get that person out of there so focus on that.

Nordak looks slightly bored, but he tries another approach,

When everyone tells you that you've been upstairs maybe you should stop for a second, step back and accept it. If you are too drunk or drugged to remember it, that is another story. For the last time, you were gone upstairs before master dwarf here find you crushed on a table in the tavern in a bad shape. If you care to ever regain your lost memories maybe you should start from there.

"Terrible ideas that are more likely to get the prisoner killed rather than free him, or no ideas at all?" She glares up at the half minotaur. "Maybe the time you guys have been wasting on the discussion of piss poor ideas would be better spent thinking up ideas that might actually help the man? Did you ever think of that?"

Nordak fakes a loud laugh clapping his hands on his knees, Aren't you the funny one? He becomes dead serious when he goes on, Well unless someone comes up with better ideas *glares at Allexa* we're stuck with the poor piss ones. Of course we could also leave this man to his fate and move forward, but I doubt that is an option for the vast majority of the persons here and frankly I feel the same. He then continues with obvious sarcasm, Since you got what you came here for *points at the mithral shirt* , packed the loot which you worked so damn hard for and can't be bothered with freeing Midnight Owl, how about you make yourself useful and stand guard while we try our poor piss ideas. Make sure no one catches us by surprise.

He then ignores the changling and focuses his attention on Midnight Owl's release.

"Now now now everyone just settle down." Gu'dan moves toward the kitchen door away from the others.
"I'm going back to check on Sinead and create a diversion, see what you all can do about freeing the Midnight Owl UNHARMED."

Gu'dan leaves the kitchen area, headed back to the bar area peeking around for suspicious activity (take 10) before heading up the stairs to the room where Sinead was last seen. Upon reaching that door, I will open it, if it is locked, I'll use brute force.

"Last I saw you Allexa, you were heading upstairs to check on Sinead.", he puts his hand on his dagger and backs off. "I don't know if anyone else is thinking what I am thinking, but I suspect Sundown has bewitched you", the halfling says from his crouched position coiled like a snake.

"And since you are all such grabby hands not thinking that we are in danger from a dark warlock and Sundown, who I might add has a powerful magical device and somebody chained in a secret door in his basement...

AND YOU ALL ARE THINKING ABOUT TREASURE!

oh and I got dibs on the pearls"

@Gu'Dan-

You cautiously head up to Sundown's room, making sure you aren't followed. When you get there, you see no signs of Sinead, Sundown, or any struggle or anything. The room is perfectly clean, almost as if it's been unused for weeks.

Hrmph, Gu'dan huffed to himself, what sly magics are afoul here.
"We will find you Sinead." Gu'dan says aloud to apparantley no one before departing the room and heading back down to the bar. Again, cautiously watching the crowd as he sneaks back into the kitchen to report his findings, or lack there of to the others.

Nordak picks a couple of bottles of wine and throws them at the device.

If nothing happens he will try to crawl his hand slowly into the field and see if he can grab Midnight Owl. He will also use his powerful build for this task.

OOC: How deep is Midnight Owl into the gravity field?
