After rescuing Alvin from the kidnappers and sending him to Triss, my journal say's to go see Triss. I go see her and she wants me to go see Shani and tell her I gave Alvin to her(Triss).
I go see Shani and tell her and she gets mad and tells me to leave. Now my journal tells me to go see Triss again.
Problem is when I get to Triss's house, she's not there. Alvin is in the house alone.
Where's Triss?
Is this a glitch or have I missed doing something to trigger the next part of the quest?

They turned me loose from the nervous hospital. Said I was well.
I wonder if she is at that bar to further a different quest? Or if there is like a day/night cycle. I think if you check at that bar she will be there.

Triss moves around a lot. During the morning she's upstairs, usually sleeping. In the afternoon she's downstairs with Alvin. And most of the evening she's at the Inn at Leuvarden's social events.

Found her upstairs at the Inn around 19:30. She told me we would talk at home. Meditated until 08:00 and then went to her house. She then talked and the quest was finished.
