Hades Character and Discussion Thread
Guys, since I don't really care either way I leave it up to you two to decide what you want to do. I would be happy to be involved in a discussion but I don't want to be placed in the position of favoring one and voting against the other.
From my standpoint I love Jeronis and it seems fine that he has knowledge(smuggling).. I will perhaps try to think of a specific product that IS smuggled for example a protected industry or something. Or alternatively I am open to changing it to crafting (cartography), knowledge (local), appraise, or whatever...
On the other hand I am always open to creating a new character which is a lot of work, but is also very rewarding to make something your own. Malinzaro if you want to play an enforcer I have an idea for you that I was considering though I want to be (something different) more of a skilled outdoorsman, probably rogue or ranger or even some barbarian with one of those mixed.
My idea is the half giant race. They get +2 strength and +2 con
Psionic Races :: d20srd.org
They also have the stomp psychic power and 2 psychic points. Then take one level of psychic warrior and the rest druid or cleric. The level of psychic warrior allows you to use the wis bonus to psychic points. And also grants you another power which I would take the expansion power which enlarges both you and your weapon! Now if you thought a large two hander was nasty how about you try a huge two hander! Druid with high wisdom would give you good casting, two high saves, wildshape, perks such as wilderness step, summoning, poison immunity, 4 skills/level, martial weapons from psychic warrior, heavy armor already and go around in plate.. I think it would be sweet. If you wanted to diversify you could take more psychic warrior for more powers or a prestige.
It also fits in with titan lore to boot. You could have some relationship or strong feelings for the titans as a giant descendant.
I think it is a poor trade but you can lose your animal companion and spontaneious summoning for a druidic avenger which has rage and fast movement though not mighty/tireless. A raging large sized half giant with a huge two handed sword sounds quite delicious.

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
@Claudius: Siberys was against using the half-giant template for some reason, even though I had this idea before (the whole discussion should be somewhere in this thread I think).
I support what Treblin said. I am fine with anything and would create another char if the DM decides so. Might go with dragon shaman again since I didn't had the chance to enjoy the class yet.

@Mal-
Half Giant TEMPLATE is different than the Half-Giant RACE.
Templates I have a bit of an issue with because they can be game breakers, and are rarely ever balanced right. Races on the other hand, most are fairly cut and dry.

Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.

I already actually have a new character mostly worked out so I can go either way..

Sorry, I meant race. I remember asking about the stomp psi-like abilitySiberys wrote:@Mal-

I am confused now, does this means we start anew?

No Malinzaro, we haven't decided that and I think Nordak is really cool.
Siberys, what about those who want to keep their characters such as Nordak or myself keep them and Treblin's character die or something and make a new one?
I think we should put out an ad for this campaign on the site. (once we decide) Even go to Twisted****** if it won't piss that site off? Heck we could just move? Oh and I have been looking at the defend homlett campaign (on Twisted*****) and I learned a lot about how to express more effectively. I think I will improve quite a bit. Thanks.
My vote is flip a coin and I came up with "tails" keep the same characters. Sorry Treblin.

Whatever we do let's just move forward. Siberys?

Not everyone has voiced their opinion.
I want to give Kozeph and MistSonata a chance to respond even though they've been absent for so long. If they don't respond, it means they may not even be willing to game anymore, and it could mean a substantial rebalancing of the game is necessary.

Siberys, how much do we wait for Ellie and kozeph to post? Can we know what is your plan regarding the campaign?

Unfortunately guys, I have some bad news.
I just lost my job (got fired because the manager changed the schedule, did not inform me, and when I didn't show up to a shift I wasn't aware of, canned me on the spot).
So, my time now is pretty much gonna be taken up by finding a new job and dealing with bills and crap, so effectively this means the game is done for. Sorry about this.

Sorry to hear about that Siberys, that sucks. Good luck finding new job!

These are some serious issues, so I wish you the best luck in finding a better job! Hopefully when things are settled IRL then we can continue or start a new campaign. Until then I will lurk around here. Cheers!

Siberys, I noticed you posted on the tangled web. Are you going to get the campaign going again? Sounds like you found a job, thats awesome.
Edit: I actually already picked up 3 campaigns on tangled web so I am maxed, unable to join. But maybe molinzaro is interested?
