Minsc Minute MADNESS! (Aka : Just how dangerous Berserk really is?)

Post by Stworca »

Hello!

Yesterday i was recording yet another Improved Ust Natha video, when things suddenly went horribly wrong!
Can a single party member be the cause of the destruction of all his companions?
Has Boo convinced Minsc to backstab us.. with a flail to the head?
And of course : Why, Minsc? WHY!?!

You can find the video showing this glorious turn of events here!

Index of Shortcuts :
The fun begins at 0:36:30
It only get's better at 0:40:27, when Minsc seals our fate.
Not to mention his last deed of "Great Fun" at 0:52:00!

Don't go berserk kids, it's not healthy!

Regards :)

I tried watching, got about a third of the way through before my PC crashed, I'm having issue with Flash at the moment.

I was hoping to see someone else fall foul of Minsc's evil ways but didn't get that far, shame.

One thing you said which was inaccurate, Minsc's enrage does not protect against imprisonment, at least not the unmodded berserk, unlike the normal Enrage.

Try skipping right to the "checkpoints" that are listed in the first post.

This playthrough was so much FUN! :) Stworca, you're much more open in this battle than in other Improved Siege, lol. Even your swearing was fun, then Minsc massacred the whole party (this was so unfair :speech :) Bioware NPC are much funnier, (since they're more familiar) I might add as well, Stworca. Looking forward for more fights with them, actually (and throw Minsc off the cliff :D ) This video even makes we want to do some fanart, yeah!

Hmm... I though Minsc's berserk lasted only for a minute... Why was killing everyone for a half of the video.

I loved: "Thank you, MINSC, THANK YOU! I just LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" In the end. :) )))

The moral: choose Valygar or Jaheira instead of Minsc.

If Minsc killed one less character - any one - we would have won that one.
If i restocked the rod before the fight - we would have won.
If Edwin's Spell trigger wasn't interrupted - ..bla

And so on.

Simply everything that could go wrong DID go wrong. Ah the joy of Enrage!

Fanart? Go for it!

That's not as bad as planning your battle with Firkraag going the death spell routes and after the second attempt you start to dimly remember that you installed a component of SCSII which normalizes all immunites making him immune to death spells and effects. :D
