Redcliffe Village Side Quest *Spoilers*

Post by sonny »

DAO: In Redcliffe after the attack on the village I entered the Chantry to check on the boy that was locked in a closet and when I left the Chantry, there was a Quest Board there with several quest. I took them and then went to meet Teagan at the windmill.
Question:
Do I have to complete the Chantry Board quest before I enter the Castle or will I be able to do them after I'm done what I have to do in the Castle?

Thanks
They turned me loose from the nervous hospital. Said I was well.

You'd have to remind me what exactly was on the board, but i am almost certain that all of the quest can be completed after visiting the castle, and at any other point in the game that occurs BEFORE the last chapter.

The quest that I got off the board are:

Caravan Down
Brothers and Sons
Skin Deep
Desperate Haven
Unintended Consequences

The reason I would like to know is because when I left Lothering, I was unable to return because it had been destroyed by dark-spawn.
Don't want to miss doing these quest.

You will be able to return to redcliffe. 99 percent sure you can hold off on those quests.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Assuming I'm remembering this correctly, the only place you can't return to in DA:O is Lothering (and Ostagar if you don't have the DLC).

For now, you can come and go as you please in Redcliffe Village. That will not always be the case, however.

First, note that you do NOT need to return to the Chantry Board that gave the quest (the One in Denerim will work as well) to turn it in. Same with the Mages Collective, and the Mercenaries.

Spoiler (highlight to read)
Spoiler
Once you begin the Landsmeet, the Redcliffe Village map, the Castle Redcliffe Map, and all maps of Denerim change to the endgame versions.
