ME1 Character help

ME1 Character help

so i decided to reload ME1 and am takin a crack at it again. However i find my memory is not what it used to be and i spent the weekend scouring the forums tryin to find answers. Having failed that i bring the issues here.

1. Playing a Soldire shep first. Ive unlocked sniper rifles, question is do i start putting ranks in or just max out assault rifles? Or do i do both? Ashly im debating on following my shep build. Is there a better one available?

2. On Tali and Wrex do i start pumping points in Shotguns once their available? With Garus do i go into sniper rifle as well or stay AssaultR?

3. What were the better licences to pick up for armor weapons and what not and from where?

4. Wanted to try an Infiltrator shep but cant recall a decent enough build. any help with that would be greatly appreciated.

Any way those are the issues im having currently. any help would be greatly appreicated.

In ME1, I've found Sniper Rifles to only be situationally useful, but when the are useful, Sniper Rifles can be world beaters. You'll want to get Assault Rifles to about skill level 8 minimum (since SRs unlock at 7, you're almost there), Due to excessive scope sway, Sniper Rifles don't become useable until around skill level 6 or so, but the zoom function is nice (press the use key, 'E' on the PC).

You can do it either way really. I've had Sniper build soldiers and soldiers that never put a point in it, both were effective.

With Tali, her thing isn't shooting, it's her tech powers. She does perfectly fine with just her pistol, or even using Assault Rifles unskilled. I've always found, even though Shotguns aren't nerfed like they are in ME2, squad-mates tend to do better with just Assault Rifles and Pistols, so I would recommend putting Wrex's points into Assault Rifles instead, and have Garrus stick with them as well.

I've never found the licenses to make that much of a difference. You will generally loot everything you'll need with only the occasional purchase, specifically Spectre Master Gear (the occasional suit of armor or upgrade). What I usually do is get any licenses I find because sometimes something will pop up in the Requisition Officers inventory that will prove useful.

[url="http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Infiltrator_Guide"]This article should help[/url]. It's the Infiltrator guide from the Mass Effect Wiki. I've found these class guides are useful if I'm at a loss for how to build a particular class (the Vanguard guide was very useful to me).
