edwin never red his scroll through the whole SoA

Ok, now I red stuff suggesting that Edwin only get his nether scroll reading done after Ust Natha, and I was patient.. But I just get dragged to hell now (I'm literally at the end of the last chapter) and I lost all hope.

one oher thing about the ending ( I don't want to open another thread for this), upont the gate before the final battle, my character recieves a lot of bonuses like a few attribute points. some are assimilated as normal (white), some are displayed with the color red in the record screen.
I want to know if they remained like that forever or not? I sure hope not, as I sure want those other bonuses to go like +1 weapon immunity or various resistances.
So are they staying through the rest of the game (Throne of Bhaal) or not?

The bonuses obtained in hell are permanent, and also : You can not avoid getting them.

There are different variants though, depending on which path you choose.

oohh maaaann.. I hoped for a different outcome as my assassin will have 18 str.. that's waaay to much str for a thief. they completely upset the characters! I made my pc the way he should be. I appreciate the +dex from sarevok, but that's it.. also why it has to be RED?
oh well.. guess I have to carry on like this then.

Yesss! I have found a way to counteract this. I just start ToB Importing my save game from when I'm ready to present the last tear of Bhaal.
This way I get the rest of the bonuses but not the one giving those unnecessary attribute points. Although not recieve the exp after Irenicus, but I digress..

Remember dude you can always change your character's stats with "Shadowkeeper". I always export my character before going into hell, while restoring the point lost in the sarevok encounter.

I had the same problem with Edwin never reading the scroll in my last game too. Could be some sort of compatibility issue? Normally I wouldn't care about things like this, but IIRC Edwin gets a nice boost to his lore value from the scroll.
