Sport Update: anyone following the Tour de France??
hehe
well as i thought Armstrong came when the mountains arrived.
The way he got up that Alpe du'ez showed once again who incredibly strong he is.
simon still has an 20 min lead on him vbut i don't think it is going to last long.
and Micheal Boogerd is doing great to he is now 11th with 30 min behinde so there are a lot of good changes fr him to end well in the end classement.

1 time trial and the first pyrineën stage furhter.
Not a lot changed, Armstrong is now 3rth with 9 min behind the number 1 Simon.
Ulrich is now 5th with 15 min arrears.
best Hollander Boogerd 11th on 22 min from Simon.
1 Bad thing happend today Bram de Groot musted leave the tour because he felled in an go down.
It didn't look pretty but all is ok with him.

I'm happy to hear de Groot's injuries were not very severe or life threatning.
Let's see if Simone can cling to the Yellow Jersey another day or not...I doubt it, since Armstrong has proved very strong in the mountains. But Ullrich lost less than I thought in the time trial

he finally did it:
Armstrong rides in Yellow tommorrow.
He won the hardest stage of the whole tour today.
The Stage trough the Pyrieneën with 4 mountains of the 1st catagory and 1 of the biggest catagory.
On top of the biggest one was the finish.
Ulrich finished 2nd and is now also 2nd in the general classiment.
Best Hollander is still Boogerd.

time for an update:
after 15 stages the general classement now is:
1 Armstrong 67.46.32
2 Ulrich 05.05
3 Kivilev 05.13
4 Beloki 06.33
5 Simon 10.54
6 Galdeano Gonzalez 12.04
7 Sevilla 13.55
8 Boogerd 16.15
9 Botero 17.49
10 Serrano 19.20
so it's looking good for Armstrong with only 5 stages to go.
Micheal Boogerd is doing great to.
yesterday he jumped from place 18 to 8 (!) because his group finished 15 min. for the peleton with all the favorites.
