Can't Make Swallow Potions

Post by ve6tp »

Hi:

In Witcher I, I'm in chapter 3 and suddenly I cannot make the Swallow potion. I have made many of the potions in earlier chapters but suddenly I can't make them any more.

What is happening is that there are only 3 slots shown for mixing potions. The swallow potion requires 4 slots. Cant find any potion that is available that shows 4 slots, all potions are limited to three slots.

Any suggestions??

Have you tried turning any strong alcohol into White Gull? If you don't have any, go buy some from the inn and turn them into the latter. You'll get 5 slots out of them.

Thanks for the reply:

It is not a matter of components.

As I stated, the problem is that when I click to make the Swallow potion, the menu shows only 3 slots for components. Swallow requires 4 slots. None of my potions that require more than 3 slots show as being capable of mixing the potions as only 3 slots appear and 4re required.

To DesR85

I owe you an apology. I didn't fully understand your reply. I had strong alcohol but not the high quality which was required.

I've got the good stuff and everything is as it should be.

Again, my apologies and thanks

Glad that I could be of assistance. High quality alcohol and very strong alcohol will do the job just fine, but based on my experience, it is simpler to just turn existing strong alcohol into White Gull since they're cheaper. As for the former two, I prefer looting corpses, chests, wardrobes, etc. for them. ;)
