Golem building help

Golem building help

Sorry if this has already been discussed before, but I couldn't find it...

In MotB, Thay academy, I tried to build a golem for the competition, but couldn't.
I put the parts in the table, used the hammer and nothing happened! I tried this over and over, different essences, different legs, arms etc. Nothing.
Help?

I believe it requires a brilliant *spirit* essence, and only a brilliant spirit essence. It might work with a lesser spirit essence however, don't remember.

Elemental essences won't work.
