Shandra Jerro Bug? (spoiler)
Okay, so I have just rescued Shandra Jerro from the clutches of the gith and low and behold, I have hit a bug. Shandra is too busy cowering in fear for me to talk to her, so now I am stuck. Can anyone help me please?!
Think that happens when she gets hit, actually all non Party NPCs do that iirc.
SO you will have to reload from your last save, afaik.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
solution
I know this is an old thread, however it is the 1st result when looking for this particular problem. Since I couldn't find the answer here (just the same question) I thought I'd share the answer I found for the next person who searches for this problem.
You can solve this problem by starting the conversation using the Console.
I'm not sure of the syntax for starting the conversation but I know the conversation file you need to start is:
16_sh_end
IIRC, the syntax is:
rs ga_conversation_self('16_sh_end')
Which will cause you to hold the conversation with yourself, but will allow the game to continue. There's another way to do where you can specify who is talking to whom, but I can't remember that offhand.
