Misclick woes

Post by Chali »

So I'm on my first playthough of BG II. I just finished the irenicus fight, and was walking back outside when I ran into Saemon. He offered me passage on a boat, as a measure of good faith. Okay, cool.

I clicked I accept your offer. Or so I thought.

I accidently clicked "Nah, i'll take the portal" and Saemon went bye bye.

:(

Can I reset this quest? Or am I SOL?

Edit: Quicksaved the file already, and the only other savefile before this mishap is right before I departed for Brynnclaw.

The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

I'm not sure Shadow keeper is the answer here. Probably the best solution is to use the console; see here for instructions on how to set up the console.

The console command you want is

CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR2300")

Makes sure the first thing you do is to talk to the Royal High Priestess Senityili, she's just around the corner from where you arrive.

This will bypass the ship voyage and boarding by the GithYankee, but that's not really a problem. If you haven't got the silver blade when you get to the Sahuagin city, use Shadowkeeper to add it.

The only thing I can think of apart from XP is the silver blade, but I think you probably got that anyway.
