Accessing Blackreach without doing the mainquest?
Does anybody know if it's possible to access Blackreach without doing the mainquest? I know I need the attunement sphere (or whatever it's called), but can I obtain it from Septimus Signus without following the mainquest? I really want to get access to Blackreach so I can harvest soulgems.
According to the wiki, "Players normally first encounter this massive location as part of the Elder Knowledge quest, although it is possible to discover it beforehand. ".
