New Vegas questions *Spoilers, maybe

Post by sonny »

Been awhile since I posted. Figured it was time to bug you guys again.

Just loaded New Vegas Ultimate Edition on my New PC :D

Waited to get it so I could play it on the new pc and give it time for the bugs to get fixed. Then I waited a little longer for Ultimate Edition to come out to get all the DLC's and latest patch.

Played all previous FO games (FO2 has always been my favorite. Awesome sound track) and I was for the most part able to get through them with out the help of a walk through. Because they were so opened ended, I just tried to explore every area I could and only taking quest I had to take until I was done exploring.

Is this game opened ended like they were and will I be able to take the same approach?

Thanks guys in advance.
Sonny :) :)
They turned me loose from the nervous hospital. Said I was well.

New Vegas is a lot closer to Fallout 3 than it is to the original two games. But it's open-ended. You can spend a lot of time exploring abandoned buildings and ravaged towns, and you're allowed to ignore the main questline if you want to.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

New Vegas also has a whole lot more invisible walls than all other fallout games combined, which is a bummer for open world game. Going through the mountains? Forget it, wall.
Crouching through smaller passages? No.
Visiting some areas by exploring, and not advancing plot? Forget it.

Fallout New Vegas : Invisible Walls 101.
