With the type of games I play, which rely a lot on 3rd party mods it has to be the PC. Fancy graphics are all well and good, but if the game-play/design isn't any good then it is irrelevant how pretty it is. As most games are sub-standard 'out of the box' these days, that's crucial. The extremely limited control/input available on a console as opposed to a PC also is a factor.
Distrbution of games, is becoming a little like Democracy (all about money and control) - in the end choice is an illusion and you have to choose your lesser evil.

And everything is hidden in the fine print.
PC all the way.

Partly because of what galraen said, most games these days, end up needing post release patching and it's a lot simpler to do it on the PC then any of the consoles. There is also mod support. I enjoy games like Skyrim and Mount & Blade, but I cannot imagine playing them without all kinds of mods.

My PC, while not top notch, is still pretty powerful rig, so I don't miss out on the graphics as well. And honestly can't think of any game that I played on my PC that didn't look as well or better then it's console version (though I should mention that I only play consoles at my friends house and not that often, so I don't have a lot of comparissons to draw upon).

PC all the way, because of the reasons described above, and it being the only platform which allows (theoretically) unlimited backwards compatibility, even of console-games. I still play BG & PS:T, for example. Alas, MW:2 Mercs is hard to get talking... :(
