Can't find Adalon's Lair!

I can't seem to find the stairs to the dragon Adalon in the Underdark. I've checked the map here at gamebanshee, and it says #13, east of the Svirfneblin village, so I've scouted the place like crazy but there is still no entrance to the frickin' dragon. Help, please?

You have to go to the svirfneblin village first, someone there knows a way to get through the darkness to Adalon.

Entering the cave is only possible once you have an item that you get from the Deep Gnomes, BUT, the cave itself is not entered via their village. You need to go out of the village, round almost the entire "Main Uderdark Area" (passing the gizmo with imprisoned souls, a rock shelf with a lot of drow that can be tough if they take you by surprise, etc) and cross a drow-made bridge in the right-upper corner of the map. The cave is accessible through there.
