is saving Juhani worth the LS point?

Post by Kashyyookiee »

just started a new game, playing on the dark side... I am at the fight with Juhani and just wondering if its really worth the light side points to save her... or should I just kill her for the dark side points (I know killing her, means losing a party member) an there is no replacement for her (which I always found kinda odd, if you are giving the option to actually kill her, you'd think there'd be a new party member in her place) but, that's another topic for another time, perhaps

I just finished a light side playthrough, an I can't say I really used her all that much
Spoiler
other then in the temple on the unknown world of course, and i did use her on the star forge as well, but, on the dark side I'll have Bastila for that
so, killing Juhani yay? or nay?

Well if you're going all evil, killing her seems to be the logical choice, the quicker you get to 100% dark side the better as far as using force powers is concerned.

Personally I found Juhani to be the least interesting party member, and that includes Zalbar and the R2D2 ripoff robot, whatshisname. Her dialogue made her seem like five different personalities were bouncing around her skull and surfacing randomly.
I'd say off with her head - she wanted to take a walk on the dark side herself, didn't she? Well, it's not all swanning around being rude to people when you feel like it:laugh:. You'll want 100% DS anyway, just like Galraen says, and there are other party members out there who'd suit your Sith ways better.

If you are playing Dark Side kill her. LS she does have an okay companion quest later in the game, and she comes in very useful in one segment later in the game due to her natural stealth.

ok, thanks for the advice...

just fought, and killed her (got my DS points)

it doesn't say anything in my quest log, but, do I get a side quest from the Jedi girl who says she was Juhani's "friend", and threatens to kill me and runs off...

does she come after me, later? or do I run into her on Korriban? anything like that...?

No, save her. You can get MORE DS points later in conversations with her as well. It's worth the temporary light side points.

Not that DS points are a trouble in this game. You'll get there one way or the other. ;)

I always save her, but whatever that's your choice and part of the greatness of the game. And yes, you do end up seeing Belaya again.

tho, I can't say I really miss her all the much, yet (an its good to know I am getting an extra side quest, anyway, with Belaya)... I am starting to regret it... an I have earned more then enough DS points to make up for it (heck, I probably would of made up for it before even leaving Dantooine)
Spoiler
an I am sure I will regret it alot more in the temple on the unknown world
But, it has unlocked some interesting dialogue, that I haven't seen before (it still amazes me, that no matter how many times I've played it, I always find something new each time)

anyway, I am too far along to go back now (food for thought on my next play throw, I guess)

When playing a dark side character the first time, I killed her but later wished I hadn't. She does have her uses.
