Dinosaur feat not working

Dinosaur feat not working

My cleric's animal companion is supposed to be a dino, but is still the original animal. Is there some type of bug? I took the Dino feat.

I played through the game once with a druid and a cleric who both had dino companions without problem. Now, I decided to drop the druid and bring along Umoja to still get a druid. Umoja is definitely getting a dino companion even though he doesn't even have the feat.

Nevermind, I figured it out. It turns out you have to take the feat when you are leveling up as a cleric. I had leveled up as a fighter when I took the feat.
