I just finished Ardan's Cathedral and found a few nameless scrolls and a book. These have no description, and they do nothing when I use them. Are these things important in game advance? What do I have to do with them? Should I sell them or not?

There is no point in keeping them around, it doesn't do anything. It is possibly cut content but nobody knows for sure. Nobody except for Nihilistic.
