Hello,
I was wondering what class/race/alignment specific items there are in BG2 and ToB. I am curious about items for all classes but have a specific interest for all fighter only items.
Thank you in advance.

The Scarlet Ninja-To is only usable by monks, if I'm not mistaken.
They can, as soon as their new class level becomes greater than (or maybe equal to) the previous class' one.mrdeluxe wrote:By the way, do you guys know if dual-class characters can use items restricted to their previous class? For example, can Imoen wear the thieves' hood or Anomen the Helm of the Rock?

That depends on the classes dualled - for instance, a ranger dualled to a cleric is restricted to clerics weapons only. (Which annoys me like crazy, since Minsc no langer can use Lilacor etc. (I cheated and made him a ranger/cleric)
A mage dualled to a thief may use the thiefs armor and weapons (only not armor while casting spells)
A fighter/thief can use any weapon and armor - although you can't use the thieving skills (except detect traps) when wearing armor heavier than studded armor.. It's all explaind in both the manual and ingame

The Ring of Holiness is restricted to clerics and druids. You might need a cleric PC to get it - it's been very hit or miss whether I get it in my playthroughs and I'm not sure of the variable yet.
The Sensate Amulet is only useable by clerics.
Wizard scrolls and certain wands are restricted to arcane casters, as is the Metaspell Influence Amulet and the Circlet of Netheril.
Similar to the above, only clerics can cast divine spells from scrolls.
The gauntlets of Extraordinary Specialization and Ogre Power are both fighter/ranger/paladins only.
The Gloves of Pickpocketing, Ring of Danger Sense, and Ring of Lock Picks are each restricted to thieves. The Ring of Danger Sense interestingly does not say so in its description, but logically would only be useful to a thief.
Wong Fei's Ioun Stone is only useable by monks, fighters, and kensai.
That's everything I can remember besides what's been mentioned.
To Isilion: Sorcerers can use anything that mages can, including robes and the Staff. They are also considered to be mages in regards to what class quests they can get.
