Just wondering... is it possible to change any of the GOOD aligned characters into evil/neutral alignment? As in no cheat/mod/SK, but only pure vanilla game-vise?
Also- I have changed Keldorn into a pure Paladin, but for some reason he can't cast his priest spells, anyone know why? (Used SK, and I'm afraid I messed something up?)
NPC alignment change?

As far as I know, there are only 2 NPCs whose alignment you can influence - Viconia, who you can turn good in ToB if you romance her and Anomen, who either goes LG if you convince him to not seek out revenge for his sisters' murder or CN if you prod him on.
As for changing Keldorns' class...there's more to it than just changing the kit from Inquisitor to "none". You also have to give him the required memorization slots, at the least. You might also have to set some variable or other to it's right value, but don't quote me on that last part.

Changing classes is always a bit tricky, but I do it all the time. The best way to do that is in three steps :
1. Set the npc's level to 1 - all the numbers to their lowest settings (levels, exp, hp, ac, attacks and so on). Remove all spells and abilities. Generally, knock them back to childhood. Save.
2. Using the above save, change the class to the one you want. Keep everything else as it is. Save.
3. Either go back to the game and cheat the experience needed for that character via the console, or load the previous save in SK and then give the exp needed.
The reason for this is that the character then levels up normally so there's less opportunity to mess things up. However, if you've been tweaking between classes with special abilities, these are coded with numerals in the "effects" tab. Those unwanted have to be removed, those wanted, added (I changed Keldorn too, once, into and Undead Hunter, and he still got level drained until I made the necessary effects.) Some of these numerals you can find here on the forums if you search, but if you don't, you can always create a PC with the class you want and then copy the effects from them to the npc.

Thank you - I guess I'll have to try a paladin on my own then, to see where the difference lies.
I made him a lvl 0 char, with 1 experience, and reset the entire stats as you mentioned, and it has worked great with everyone else that I have tinkered with, but not Keldorn.. Must have overlooked something then
Hm, to bad you can't change anyone evil, it could be fun

Plus Sarevok in ToB. You only need to set HPs to 1 and level to 0. Everything else is recalculated.QuenGalad wrote:1. Set the npc's level to 1 - all the numbers to their lowest settings (levels, exp, hp, ac, attacks and so on).
Therefore you only need to save once, after all changes - HPs, level, class, etc. Shadowkeeper annoyingly duplicates saves, and it's boring enough like this.

It's safer to do it that way - I've had the game crash on me for stupid reasons when going too fast with the change. Thus, OP gets the longer road from me.
@densorteengel, are you looking at the right tab? It's called "Affects" (with an a, not e like I wrote earlier) and has a few multi-figure numbers in it.
