I love war games. Modern Warfare 2, Far cry 2 and Gears of War 3 are the best games to play.

Can't say that I'm too attracted to any of the current batch of MMOs. I was hugely attracted to Star Wars Galaxies before SONY messed it up. For all it's technical flaws the game was still fun and was perfect if you wanted to RP.

I used to RP a barkeep in a cantina in Mos Eisley. You didn't even have to use your imagination too much. You could literally be that since there was a profession for it. I remember fondly being surrounded by beatiful Twi'lek dancers, and serving my food and drinks to the weary travellers and adventurers taking a break from whatever it is they were doing.

Ah the good old days. No MMO I know of right now allows me to do that.

My favourite games are red dead redemption and call of duty: black ops, I love their story, gameplay, characters, script, voice acting, graphics, sound...almost everything.

The only MMORPGs I loved were Mercenaries of Astonia and Dransik, both in their early days (10 years ago or so) before they went commercial.

If I were to choose my favorite game would be RISK. I do know this game exists online yet. I have to look into this.

I realize this thread was a bit of a necromancy, but figured I'd throw in my current favourites anyway.

My personal favourite game is Warhammer Quest with heavy houserules. For anyone that hasn't heard of Warhammer Quest it was the natural evolution of Hero Quest -> Advanced Hero Quest -> Warhammer Quest and takes place in the same setting with randomly created dungeons through the use of modular board sections. It is essentially a coop Diablo clone in boardgame form that has a games master as an optional and not a requirement.

My favourite video game is always changing. Planescape Torment has the best story for me. I love the newer Bioware games when first playing through them, but can't stand replaying them. Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is one of the most enjoyable games for me to replay on the other hand. I am rather odd in many things. For instance, I still enjoy single player Hellgate London with mods a whole lot, but have failed to get into Hellgate Global. My favourite game right this minute is probably Eschalon. I have been having more fun with it than I probably should.

The game I have probably spent the most time playing is Minesweeper. It's my go to game for when I don't have much time or I am watching a youtube video or any number of things where I don't have the time for and can't devote my attention to another game.

Currently playing Max Payne 3 right now. Enjoyed it a lot compared to the previous two games (not saying either one is bad, it's just that the latest one is better). ;)
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
