Hi, have just started playing arcanum but I have no gameplay directions other than on the cd - this certainly adds to the interest but xp points have jammed at 999999999........ and so I can't add any further character points to get extra powers etc. Can anyone advise or do I have to start again ?

Looks like a very weird issue. Start again, I'd say.
