Buying Torches in MGSO?

Post by Claudius »

Does anyone know who sells these? I only have one left and they burn out :( I do have a few candles but dim.

Edit:
After tromping around I finally found some in the south corner club in Balmora (edited)
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Just saw this.
I concur, for a new character with those dark light settings, illumination can definitely be an issue. On the two characters I have thus far created since this install I have bought a Night Eye spell... though they both have Illusion as a major, which helps. Once you have the cash, and the appropriate materials, you can have an item enchanted with the spell if you don't really use magic.

As to torches, I'm going to guess you can probably purchase them at places like pawn shops, outfitters and general goods merchants.

Or..... Spoiler: Highlight below to read

If you get really desperate and you have Bloodmoon, try to make your way to the Thirsk mead hall.. behind the building, in addition to some other goodies, there is a ring with 20 points of Constant Effect Night Eye. (for balance I'd suggest avoiding using the other items you find there until you've levelled a lot, but that is, of course, your call.)

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
