Are there any good mods which add a romance for a female character? Anomen is so.... boring.
Thanks in advance!

Gawain, am I right in thinking you don't really need it to be lesbian?
There's tons of mod guys out there, and they can be very good. I'd heartily recommend:
- Edwin, for females of any alignment, with comic elements and solid romance plus a personal quest. Very entertaining.
- Kivan, my personal Utlimate Favourite, a bit of angst in it but also support and a real elven atmosphere - a really great mod
- Xan, who can be rather exasperating at times and is not necessarily a "Happily Ever After"
- Sarevok, a bit of a controversial mod for obvious reasons and ToB only, but highly satisfying
And a dishonorable mention to Tsujatha, who many gals like and who I find to be the worst mod ever written, sharing the title with Ninde.

Oh, no, straight is just as good. Good content is more important, and Evil NPCs are out too. My point about Anomen was rather that he just is a boring character, and the only option for a female PC.
Does the Kivan mod (obviously) also adds him as a partymember? No technical conflicts. I was a bit disappointed he wasn't a romance option via the BG1NPC project.

Well, romancing Edwin as a good character gives you opportunities to nudge him towards a better life, actually, but it's not a full, head-on "conversion."
Kivan is won-der-ful. Really, the mod is just... brilliant. Of course, it adds Kivan as a party member (Waukeen Promenade, right after you get out of Chateau Irenicus) and, the mod can be played in two ways: either you get Kivan to love your female PC and let the memory of Deheriana go, or you can play him as a friend and (in certain circumstances) resurrect Deheriana for him - which I've never brought myself to do (Oh, Kivan! )
The mod does a great job presenting a difference in behaviour and mindset of an elf as opposed to human, does a good job keeping other NPCs in character, and has one great fixture other romances lack - the talks are not on an "independent" timer, but are scheduled to react to the quests and events - thus nicely anchoring the relationship within the plot. It can be a bit ridiculous sometimes in the vanilla game, i think, your lover speaking of his or her childhood as the blood of a dragon swirls around your boots.
Ahem. I can go on about Kivan for ages, I really can. Sorry about that. Oh, one more thing - he has a nice "older brother" relationship with Aerie, so it's a good idea to take her along.
