Heyya everyone. My first post here, though started following the site for a few months now. I love how there is an awesome site dedicated to CRPGs. Very great work.
The topic of this thread isn't about an RPG but I always thought RPG players might be dipping into adventure games every now and then to get some good stories. For me, The Longest Journey series have been one of those kinds of games. The world, the characters and the stories are so intriguing.
Anyway, probably most of you are aware of the Kickstarter campaign that is going on relating to the new game in the series. It is successfully funded but still could use more funds to get even more awesome. So, check out maybe?

Cheers,
And I hope to contribute to this community meaningfully much more in the future

Now those games had *soul*. They might have had flaws, especially the 2d one, but the story and characters are unequalled in my experience... Fortunately, so far the designers seem well-aware of these flaws, and ready to avoid them for this new iteration.
Backed on day one, for the promise of story, Zoë and Crow (oh, and Ragnar Tornquistador).
I must say, although I did enjoy The Secret World (mostly for its great setting, story, and dialogs - coincidence!), I'm glad to see Ragnar & his team back to what they started with.

Exactly! Couldn't have said it better myself. I so wish more people from diverse gaming communities support this project. This is the best time to get into this game, especially with their plans of digital comics to fill you in for the details of the old games etc.GuiOhm wrote:Now those games had *soul*.
