I'm actually at level ~28 now, after RUNNING through HOTU, taking every dragon and demon on in melee. Stoneskin, Mestil's sheath, flame weapon, keen spells cast all the while. My greataxe does 130 damage on criticals. I have levels left but no idea what to do. I was thinkin weapon master. Any ideas? Maybe Hellball would be better?
Best Solo Character
Can you give more details on this build? I would like to try it out. Also, how did you use a tiefling in NWN1?Jileen wrote:I guess like most people I tend to stray away from typical character combos. So to beat Hordes, I used a :
Female Tiefling Sorc(01)/Monk(16)/RDD(10)
I have to say she was a T A N K.
I like playing monks, cause i guess i am pretty cheap and hate spending loads on equipment.
Here are her stats after I finished Hordes:
STR: 19
DEX: 15
CON: 16
INT: 13
WIS: 18
CHA: 14
Stats are unnerfed. RDD is one of the best prestigious classes. She literally just chopped everything to pieces.
I would try a PM considering she has 1 post and it was 7 months ago.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
Hehe, I play a lvl 40 pure Wizard
And I have no problems with any of the enemies - if things get tough I summon a fully-grown Red Dragon and they all scamper XD
I have no idea about my stats, high INT I guess and the rest of the stats are boosted with items (+10 CON, +10STR etc.)
As feats I have Spell Penetration, Improved Spell Penetraion, Epic Spell Penetration, Epic Spells (summon Red Dragon, Greater Ruin, Hellball etc.), Ambidexterity, Two-Weapon Fighting, Improved Two-Weapon Fighting, Weapon Focus, Imp. Weapon Focus, Epic Weapon Focus (longsword) (I wield a buffed up Enserric and a buffed up Astral Blade), Epic Concentration, Maximize Spell... that's all I can remember
Armor: Robe of Vecna (spell focuses)
Favoured Spells: Max. Isaac's greater Missile Storm (20 x 10-15-20 dmg) and Greater Ruin (epic spell) for bosses, Max. Firebrand (90-135 dmg per target) Cone of Cold, Meteor Shower, HellBall (epic spell) for large groups . Knock and Find Traps makes Rouges unnecessary. Time Stop can help in tricky situations. Red Dragon Knight (epic spell, summons Red Dragon) scares off most enemies (first time through HotU, battling the Order of the Long Death kills me a dozen times, now I summon the Dragon and they all get paralyzed with Fear).

druid is hands down the best character in nwn, since they saw fit to eliminate alot of the ways people won in the previous games and have totally over compensated the less used classes and abilities for nwn, creeping doom stacks on top of itself and each round increases in dmg combined with the ability to use a limitless ammo bow vs ranged attackers or ancient dragon (type dependent on a bosses weakness) while creeping dooms tick away for over 200 dmg per round, lets see tho stats
human only because i like begging for more money from quest rewards so u take the 1 extra skill each lvl into persuade.
max concentration, spellcraft (it adds saving throws at +1/5skillpoints), and persuade each lvl
str 10
dex 10
con 14(because i like being able to live thru fights)
int 10
wis max(im at 44 with a few pts in great wis and a +10 amulet of wisdom)
cha 10
feats
zen archery
toughness
weapon prof exotic
weapon focus bastard sword ..(i love the bloodletter from makers island)
automatic quicken spell 3
epic shame mummy dust
epic shame dragon knight (thought it would be cool having ancient dragon shapeshift and a dragon pet..its not, summons are aweful on anything but easy difficulty and dragon knight lasts about 1minute and ive never seen him cast more then 4 spells totally about 300 dmg ...
epic spell greater ruin
improved initiative cause i never looked up what it did and in icewind dale 2 even tho it was broken it said it increased your characters speed by 1, turns out all it does is determine who goes first in melee.
shapeshift ancient dragon..cuz it wins all fights effortlessly.
rapid fire
point blank shot
most other feats are trivial or at the least simply prerequisites such as quicken spell..for auto quicken spell.
imo animal companion is worthless since none of the pets are viable in combat
character isnt perfect but meh it made it thru nwn and hou with no trouble, only had to reload 1 time during the war with the valsharess after we drove back the army i got the message that we won and to go to the city core followed by the automatic transition not happening.
