This is a feat that sacrifices 2d6 sneak (average 7 damage) for damage over time (DOT)
Is the DOT from arterial strike worth it? I have a lot of feats already (non-minmax) and otherwise am taking pretty marginal things. So I wonder if arterial strike is just a feat that makes the sneak worse? Or does it make it better?

My two cents, it is not worth it since there is no monster that will last long enough for the damage over time to do any real amount of significant damage. If you already have the better than average attacks feats than I recommend taking some defensive feats (saves or AC) or increasing the specialty with your weapons (ie a second star in your weapon of choice).
