Cuirasses

Post by GawainBS »

A bit of an odd question, but the cuirasses in the game, do they come with the "skirting", or does the skirting come with the greaves? If I'll ever start Oblivion, I'd like to give my character a Legionnaire look.

Automatic response was cuirass but I had to check, and yes it is the cuirass that provides the skirting, but groin coverage is provided by the greaves.

What that means is if you wear a basic Iron Cuirass your groin area is uncovered, and if you're using a nudity mod, you are, ahem, rather exposed! :D

No such public display with guards armour though as that comes with full skirting, of course not having groin coverage wouldn't bother a Scot in the slightest!

Damn, this is what I was afraid of. I could go for a Scottish Legionaire, of course. ;-)
