Well I'm thinking of finally biting the bullet and getting an Xbox 360 250g slim. Any problems playing the KOTOR games on there? I heard there was an issue with playing Xbox games on the 4g, but haven't heard about this particular model. Anyone having any great success with it?
Thanks

Yep, been doing a run through of K2, it seems like there is some audio issues, but nothing that's not playable.DarthAcidia wrote:Sith Dog reborn wrote:Well I'm thinking of finally biting the bullet and getting an Xbox 360 250g slim. I actually came here to check if anyone else was having audio issues playing it on 360, when I saw this thread
good to hear I am not the only one having this problem
just bought a used copy of Kotor and wasn't sure if the audio issues were from the disc itself or the system
anything else I should watch out for?

You playing the first game and having audio issues? I haven't done a play through of KOTOR on the 360 yet so I don't know what to tell you on that one, but yes I'm having issues with sound on KOTOR 2, one of the other issues seem to be the darkness of alot of the modules, they seem to be a lot darker than they were before, but other than that it's fine. The dark issue may be that I'm just using the standard cord on a regular tv as well.

yes, the first game...
an I am playing it on a regular 360(250 GB) not the slim (if that makes a difference)
idk what type of audio issues you've been having with your game, with mine I've notice some dialog skipping, an in some scenes the background noise would be muted
would this problem be caused by 360 using a different sound format or something?
I just want to know, that its not form the disc be scratched up or anything since it was a used copy (and that is not going to effect my system or bug out on me, if I keep playing)

Ahem, i have and xbox360 elite 250gb (same internals as the slim i'm sure) but heres the issues:combat sounds kick off after about 2-3 hours of playing,(blaster shots, sword cuts etc.) but all you have to do is make a save, and turn you're Xbox off and back on..
Also, there are some parts in the game where it gets really...laggy, but they are very rare, and if you make a save and reload, the lag should go away.
Have fun!
