Wimpering locker

Post by SevLives »

Is there anything you can do with it other than talk to it? I remember a persuade option, if you do that can you make him come out? What about Dominate Mind?

Nope, I think there's nothing that can get that guy out of locker, no matter how high your persuade skill is. Dominate mind doesn't help too, as far as I know - I don't remember trying it myself, but I once played with a hacked char, who had all skills at 99 and knew all Force powers, so, I think, it didn't work.

I belie ve you can stick you saber into the locker and kill him using one of th options and I seem to recall that gives you DSPs...

Wow... That's a really mean thing to do  Aren't you joking? I don't remember anything like that. Maybe you need to have a DS mastery, or some such? I'd like to try this:devil:

I don't think that any choice depends on your alignment; if you have light side mastery you can still join up with bastila on the unkown world. I actually didn't have my lightsaber equipped when I talkeed to the locker. That probably killed my chances of skewering him.

I'm sure I had my lightsaber(s) equipped every time I talked to him in my several playthroughs and there weren't any dialogue options like that.

I also had my lightsaber equipped. Always handy to have your double-bladed red hott  lightsaber equipped. And I didn't have that option. I'm not sure weather I went through a glitsh or eithers you wrong, but it would be a great option. :)

The option to kill him should be available to all characters of any alignment (as I know). It's a choice/chance to gain DS points, but may require some navigating through dialogs (not too sure since I seem to always get it even if I max LS by then).

There's otherwise nothing else you can do except talk him to gain some info. He's surprisingly amazingly immune to all kinds of persuasion and mind trick you can throw at him otherwise.

I just went through again (with my lightsaber equipped) and threatened him constantly and managed to get him. Also note that I was on the PC.

Oh, ok, now I see why I didn't get this option. I always played as a lightsider and never threatened him:angel:

Hmm... good point by SevLives. I too played on the PC version... it might be the one that made the difference? I know a certain shop in a space station is is always available in the PC version... so this might be such as well?

It takes a while to get the option to stick the lightsaber in the locker. I think you have to have talked to him multiple times in order to get that option.

Hmm, me either. I talked to him for quite a long time, I remember now. And I played on PC. Well, now I'm feeling like I have to play KotOR again just to try this :D

Whatever the case. The man is absolutely meaningless to the game, so I personally believe it doesn't deserve the slightest bit of attention.

I agree. He's not worth wasting hours of gameplay while trying to figure out how to save/kill him.
