Post by mrdeluxe »

Without any spoilers, what do you think is the best romance in ToB?

Thanks!

I didn't think there were any, some continue from SoA but I'm not aware of any ToB specific ones.

Oh sorry, I meant romances continuing from SoA. Of these which do you think are better written in ToB? For instance: I remember vaguely reading that Jaheira's romance isn't that special in ToB, even though it's probably the deepest and best written in SoA…

I seem to recall that pretty much all of the romace with Jaheira was in SoA. Viconia continues, and doesn't in fact come to fruition until ToB, similar I seem to remember with Aerie. So for a male PC then either of those two; haven't got a clue about Analman, neer had him in the party long enough to fins out.

It's been about a year, but I don't recall Anomen doing much in ToB. My PC even wore his gift to the end... pfft, not that he noticed.

It's not a romance, but the Saeravok or Imoen dialogues are notable in ToB, a bit more so if they travel together after she helps him.

On the same note: what party do you think has the best dialogue interactions in ToB? Should I stick with the canonical Imoen, Minsc, Jaheira plus Sarevok? Who should I add to the party, banter-wise? Any NPC has specific, memorable, conversations with our big brother?
