trainers/editors

Post by Noorman »

Hi
I'm 74 yrs old and getting into games. I am presently playing Planescape Torment and I messed up. I have to try using a trainer/editor to solve my problem. Hoow d I use them or where can I go to get this information? Any help will be greatfully appreciated. Many Thanks.

I found the Infinity Engine Savegame Editor convenient.

Just unzip it, run it, open a save, and fix whatever you need.

I am using this

http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/dl.php?s ... _ed103.exe

It allows you to change the many values of Nameless One man and Morte and apply them to a save file.

I needed this editor to edit the hit points of Nameless One, because i was cheated by a computer: i did not notice that after leveling up it gave me a SINGLE pathetic hit point, even though i had my constitution level to get 10 hit points!
This is not cheating, this is justice.

And then i guess i have to feel pretty much a youngster at my age of 28 vs yours 74. It will be interesting to see if i will have the WILL to play Torment again when i reach your age, if will live that long.

Before using this editor, some drivers have to be installed in Windows:

It really depends on the trainer / editor.

It like any other application... a tool that helps you to edit the way another program works, or edit values in a save file.

Well, if you're leveling a class that's not your highest one, you actually are supposed to get only one HP.
If that was not the case, report it to Quinn, he has an awesome PS:T fix pack, and will probably be happy to include the fix.
