casting spells

casting spells

ok i'm normally a hack and slash type but i'm in need of casting a spell,i can get the spell to activate in my hand but how do I get it to cast , i've tried every key I can think of,, what I am I missing? any help would be appericiated.

Once you've "wielded" the spell, you cast it just like attacking with a regular weapon. That is, you probably right click to cast it.

For a lot of spells you actually have to hold the mouse button down. Also if the spell is in your left hand then you fire it with the left mouse button.

It is also important that you have enough Magika to cast the spell. The ones you get at the start of the game are low magika and can be sustained by holding down the corresponding mouse button.
