Hi all!
I was just wondering if any RPers out there used Shadowkeeper software to change their PC or NPC teammates Appearance model and stuck through an entire playthrough like that?
I'd just like to hear what different people are doing differently? I hope I'm not the only crazy to play with a different Appearance model.
Anyways, how I ran into this was the following:
1. I was making a mostly half-Orc group (berserker PC, barbarian NPC, assassin NPC), by using the save ---> mpsave trick here: http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/sho ... php?t=5995
2. Once I had my group set up, with written backstories to kinda fill the void of no banter ...
3. I found the Appearance tab in Shadowkeeper and could change to real Orc Melee 1 and Orc Melee 3 and even Orc Shaman. Not to mention Genie, GenieLegs (works awesome for a Calemshite), all types of Dragons, Wyverns... basically every creature model in-game!
Of course, the drawback to this model/mesh (really sprites not even actual meshes) switching is that no visual changes to armor, no animations for spells, etc. Basically, STATIC, but kewl look.
So I was just wondering if anybody else played a game in RP as another Appearance model by using Shadowkeeper program?
And how you wove it into your RP stories?
Anybody play with a different Appearance Model?

I constantly do that. Can't remember the last time I played through with an ordinary model. Drow male, Drow female, Werewolf, Irenicus, Bodhi and Rakashas are the ones I usually play around with. Demi-Liches works too. Think I had a nymph once, and a wolf too. Not 100% sure.
Most important is to get models with ordinary movement speed, since that's hardcoded. I have done extensive tests in order to figure out what models I can use. ^^
Lore-wise I find it a lot funnier to write stories to more esoteric characters. I have done a little of everything, but for example, one favourite character of mine was a Lawful Good Cleric/Ranger with Werewolf skin who had gotten infected by a weird strain of lycanthropy which was uncurable, so she had to team up with my Neutral Evil Sorceress, who was potent enough to hold the curse off and let her keep her sanity, but still played around with her strengths to tap into her true power. Crom Faeyr and Flail of Ages meant she had a werewolves strength and claws imbued with all kind of elemental powers, ring of Gaxx meant she had gained resistant skin... and so on.
Most common party is
Drow Male Fighter/Thief/Mage (awesome fighting animations, awesome combat animations),
Werewolf Ranger/Cleric (Werewolf suits well with Crom Faeyr/Flail of Ages)
Bodhi Inquisitor (Magical resistance and dispelling sort of suits the undead I feel)
Rakasha/Irenicus/Drow Female Sorceress (Good casting animations)
