OK, I have killed Laiken , gotten the dragon stone and turned into a dragon. Now, how do I stay alive long enough to wipe out the things/ forts that are shooting at me as I exit the place where the dragon stone turned me into a dragon.
I have looked for a thread on Dragon skills , re-read walkthroughs, and I could use a few expert tips on how best to use the Dragon mode. Right now, I can't weave my way through the bolts hurled at for very long before being wiped.

It's been a while, but IIRC you should use your offensive skills, move back and forth to avoid missiles, and retreat as necessary to heal.

Thanks to both repliers; getting the hang of hang-gliding as a dragon in a fun learning experience. The slip-sliding away and the dragon armor both help. I have also learned to hide behind the cover of the Battle Tower buttresses while the dragon heals and skills recharge.GawainBS wrote:SWCarter pretty much nailed it. Lateral movement is your friend. Be sure to equip what Dragon Armour you may have.
