Switching BG install versions & keeping savegames?

At the moment, I've got BGI + TotSC installed via Tutu. I'm using the four DVD version. (BGI + TotSC: BGII + ToB).
Would I still be able to use my current savegames if I installed the GoG version and used BGT on it?

I think it's highly unlikely.
