OlderBytes RPGs
Hello everyone,
About 18 months ago Steven Carter wrote a review of my RPG called Swords and Sorcery Underworld.
http://www.gamebanshee.com/reviews/1101 ... eview.html
I since built a new engine for both the sequel (Sovereign) and a substantial Underworld Upgrade. After a long silence I posted a first of a series of entries that will cover the work over the past year, as well as future developments.

I know Gamebanshee echoed my announcement for the sequel but here it is again, from way back then:

A world map for Sovereign was since finalized
I thought some people might like to discuss it
Thanks for reading!

Is there a list of changes in the Underworld update?

Re: OlderBytes RPGs
I haven't really written one yet. Other than my paper todoes. Since I rebuilt the whole thing pretty much everything changed one way or another (other than the images). Stores, character creation, the way quests are handled, inventory, walking (fluid transitions are an option now) and of course combat and casting as shown in this update... That's off the top of my head.

I know it's more of a design decision than anything, but the option to use the mouse instead of using only the keyboard would be nice. Call me "un-hardcore", but clicking and dragging items between members feels less tedious than playing keyboard-piano.

The new inventory is a close futre update. It is entirely redesigned.
You might even like it
Edit : there's a smiley that might not be showing up just so you know I'm not being unpleasant.

Thanks. The keyboard-exclusiveness is what kept me from enjoying the game. The fluid movement is a really nice addition, though.

Well you can use the mouse for everything in the current version but that was shoehorned in so it doesn't work quite right.
Re: OlderBytes RPGs
When you get Sovereign finished, or at least to a suitable beta state, I'm pretty sure we'd be happy to write a review/preview about it.
