After talking to the "selfish" demon in hell, you have to choose a door. If you choose to be selfless and go through yourself, you lose 2 points of health permanently, one point of dexterity (my char. did, at least) and a bunch of experience. When I tried again, and this time was selfish, korgan was killed, but I just resurrected him and he was fine. If this is the case, why the heck would you choose the selfless route? Am I missing something?
You might turn Neutral Evil, if you choose the selfish path, but that never happened to me, as long as it#s not your romance you can just let him/her get killed and rez him/her afterwards...
am i the only one who thinks the test of selfish would be much more interesting if it "chunked" the selected party member, or if the party member got so pissed off (at being sacraficed) that they refused to rejoin the party?
Also being evil gives a bonus of 2 to AC while taking good route gives 10 magic resistance (although it is buggy, and even the evil path may give you magic resistance without the patch)
Unless you are a paladin i guess it is mostly a roleplaying thing really
