Am I unlucky or something?

Post by NightFall Myriad »

I was just wondering...

I was playing as an evil half-orc fighter and was once struck by lightning in the middle of the day.

No bad guys or anything.

It just happened, could have been cuz it was raining but seriously, its never happened to me before or since.

Am I unlucky or did I piss the gods off or something?

It nearly killed me too, something like 100 damage, lucky I had full health...

Was it after a fight with a druid who cast call lightning?
That thing can last a long time and deals massive damage.

Also, I read somewhere (could be the manual) that sometimes lightning can strike during a storm.
You can never hope to grasp the source of our power. We are forever.

there is always a 5% chance that it will lightning on the screen and like a 10 or 20% chance it will rain but the lightning always hits a random spot on the map sometimes it hits you it was just pure chance that it happened to hit you no real biggie if u ask me i usually just rest when rain or night comes its annoying traveling in the dark :)
Life sucks deal with it

It is because item drops in diablo2 are modified by 2 things: the level of the monster and by the location of death. So by killing alot of monsters in the exact same spot you can get many copies of the same item.

Yo, guys....
I don't know if you noticed, but this is a BALDUR'S GATE forum, not a Diablo forum... :D
"Boo? Boo... where are you?"
"What's the matter, Minscy? Did you lose [snicker]... lose [giggle]... lose something?"
"You! The tiny, tricky gnome! Minsc knows it was you who stole Boo! You cannot fool Minsc! What is that bulge moving about within your trousers?"
"This bulge here? Why, that's [ha-ha] that's nothing. I'm just happy to see you Minscy. [giggle] Oh, those tiny feet tickle so."
"I hear Boo's frenzied squeaking! Ho-ho! He is growing angry, little man. Release Boo from your drawers lest his sharp teeth nibble on your naughty bits in his outrage!"
"Boo would never do such a thing... Uh, at least I hope he wouldn't. Actually, now that I think about it, that's a chance I'm not willing to take. Here you go Minscy - Boo's yours again, safe and sound."
"Ah, Minsc and Boo together again! Jan, you are not worthy of having a miniaturized giant space hamster scampering loose in your pants."
"Ah, I suppose there are precious few of us indeed who are truly worthy of that particular honor."
