Can we please read the question and answer it and not start an entirely new conversation?

i'm just saying it is one of the best weapons in the game, and if you really don't want it you can always just drop it on the floor somewhere if you are desperate for item slots

Never seen any store that will buy it. It is a very good weapon, with the 33% chance of slow.

Where are you or your party's current location. I would think that Bernard in the copper coronet would buy the flail of ages +3. Or Ribald in the adventurer's mart should also offer you money for it.

You did know that the flail of ages +3 has a percentage chance(I' don't remember the percent offhand of automaticly slowing an opponent with no save right?). But then again if you are soloing a mage and do not plan to take any npc's who will be able to use a flail then sell it by all means. Or if you need cash right away for something you feel is more important then go ahead and sell it. If we are talking about the same flail then you should be able to sell it in most weapon shops if I recall correctly.

Nael just thought you should keep it because he and most people feel it is a good weapon to keep. :)

Heck

Now That Gaxx mentioned that I believe he may be right. The flail of ages description said something that it was probably made by the rakshaha. In adventurer's in the past seem unable to hold on to this weapon for long and it winds back in the rakshasa's hands again. You may be out of luck deadpan.

Well, I can probably have my cleric use it, but bah, hes not really a fighter type, I mainly have him aid the fighters when they are overwhelmed and heal my wounded. My own character is in fact an Invoker. If I ever needed it, I could buy it back..

The reason I asked was because, I've tried to sell it to Ribald but it wouldn't sell. The item was all dull as they appear when you're not able to sell them. I don't remember trying at the Copper Coronet tho..

If ribald did not purchase it I don't believe bernard would either in the copper coronet.

My room mate actually had Minsc using the flail of ages+3 in one hand and the cromfeyer in the other. I read of people who equipped Anomen with the mace of disruption in one hand and the flail of ages in the other. It would not be bad to equip your cleric with the flail of ages+3 depending on your profiency in weapons (especially if you can't sell it.)

Woulda been cool if there was a fixed chance that, when the flail is completed, there was a chance (like 1-5%) that a bunch of Rakshasa would appear and fight you...

That doesn't make sense. There should be a 20% chance that 2d4 rakshasa teleport in and attack you.

The FoA can later be upgraded to be one of the at least 5 best weapons in the game, the final upgrade is my maybe personal favourite

There should be a 90% chance that 34d10 rakasha appear and spank you with a big wooden paddle.

PS anybody seen the movie about a prison break, loosely based on homers oddesy. It is so funny when the governor's 2 lackeys are arguing about if they are getting their ass kicked or spanked. lol!

Anyhow....

I don't know, the slow feauer is really nice but I actually prefer the big claw headed hammer...
Crom feyr
the flail is what I consider a shotgun type weapon. Don't know what this monster is vulnerable to? bring out the flail a couple of whacks and because of all the different damage something will get thru.

I've always found that wee little aerie, with crom feyr is the best for that kinda situation. I've ment very few beasts that can handle electric attacks, and even mighty firkragg took some major damage with spell triggered chain lightningg.

I refuse to use the regular kind, too damned dangerous with that bounce effect.

anyway, does the slow effect melissan?

I have yet to find her vulnerable spots, or demo gorgon.

Big question, is demo gorgon vulnerable to fire based attacks?
They call me Darth...

Darth Gizka!

Muwahahahahhahahha!!!
