yeah also it would've been nice if the githyanki kept after you for the silver sword (which i don't think you can sell either). they give up once its reforged- you'd think they'd redouble their efforts once you'd forked out all that cash on the thing.
does seem odd that you can't sell these things when you can even sell cursed items..

ps @ whiterabbit: 'oh brother where art thou?'- don't remember that bit in it though.

Regular lightning bolt strategy (the only way it works for me, but it works great!)

Cast "Protection from Electricity" on character.

Have character walk into room w/ Monsters

Close door.

Fire lightning bolts! They bounce all around and hit everything, but YOU have 100% resistance, so who cares?

BTW, the Flail of Ages is awesome. It is weird that you can't sell it, though. I've never seen anywhere. Cause I would sell it and then steal it back. ;)
May you walk on warrrrm sannd....

Another thing abot the FoA- if the char that's holding it leaves the party through some plot twist or what ever (maybe imprisonment too), the damn thing jumps to another party member just like any containers do! Its as if its cursed and you just can't get rid of it. Besides from putting it on the floor and walking away that is. Bet if you did just leave it somewhere on the ground, if you came came back in a month it'd still be there. NOBODY WANTS IT. It'll probably turn up in NWN too...

It's probably considered a quest item. Those are never lost.

well yeah, if you want to get technical about it, it probably is like keys and such. But i prefer the idea that theres a bunch of rakshasa out there looking for it, slowly tracking you down, asking around about it which is why no one wants to touch it.

Didnt Nalia's father keep it seperate for a reason or something? And doesn't someone say they ever hardly saw him use it assembled? Seems weird to have one of the most powerful weapons going and to have it in bits all over the place...
