As many of you who have the addon know aerie can get pregnant if you are romancing her (of Anomen if you are a female PC). I was thinking that this could be used as an opening for a new series of games. Not exactly the same as the BG series but perhaps it could take place in another place several year in the future. I think that it could be quite do-able. The storyline could be something like the PC's father/mother (you) decended into godhood, and now there is a war waging in heaven in which you have to stop/embrace to stop dear old mum/dad from being destroyed. This could be a possible storyline because it gives the PC the opportunity to help the parent or take the mantle for themselves. I don't know what do you all think?
I'm not sure, but wouldn't the kid be mortal. Even though you knocked her up before the end, if you stay on earth (whatever) and give up all of Bhaals taint, that goes for the kid too. Remember? The planetar said all the essence was destroyed. So sure, you could have a sequal, but the tyke's going to be mortal. It would be more at home in the Sims than a BG sequal.
I do not want the story to end for MY character, not for his child/children/any relatives . It woild be wonderful to continue adventures with old friends and companions. You know, something like God Lvl.1 . Of course, PC is quite powerful for mortal, but still too weak as a god. In such a situation he can very well take part in that heaven war as a level 1 character and can be made to complete some quests in addition to the main plot in order to be able to bring old party members to him (they are too powerful for mortals, too ).
It would be rather sad to be in the same realm as completely another person - even if this person is PC's child...
You could romance Jeheira again (considering you have to ditch her to be a god) since she gets over men so frigging fast.
When logic and proportion,
Have fallen sloppy dead,
And the White Knight is talking backwards,
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the doormouse said.

If you helped Viekang escape from Saradush he’ll still be alive at the end of ToB and he's a Bhaalspawn. The designers who post on the Black Isle board have said that the Solar is just talking about the major taint. It’s possible for there to be less powerful Bhaalspawn or children of Bhaalspawn still running around after ToB, they just don’t have enough divine power to be worthy of godhood. Since Aerie's baby is conceived before the loss of your taint, I would say he would retain at least some superhuman traits (though relatively minor when compared to his father's).
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Minor superhuman traits? Sounds like a contradiction in terms.
But, really, if daddy's superhuman powers (Bhaalspawn powers) weren't minor, then what is? It's not as if one Slow Poison a day really sets you apart from your fellow adventurers (heck, even Dynaheir had a free Slow Poison). And the Slayer isn't all that in ToB either. If the protagonist has any really superhuman traits, it's them being destined to do great deeds. Not the in-game powers.

I agree on that...though...the freakin three adventurers in Abazigals Layer could do that, too....damn....gotta find something else.....
Bah, I'd rather have a complete new storyline with new characters and NPC's. It's nice to have a clean slate to work with.
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.
