vampired inflicted bodies?

going through shadow keeper's item browser, i came across five rather odd items=

body of aerie
body of jaheria
body of vaconica
body of valygar
body of anomen

now, apparently the description says that they wree infected with bohdi's vamprisim, and that you're not sure how to revive them.

did they take that aspect out of the game? cause i don't remember a thing like this w bodhi.

Aerie, Jaheira, Anomen, and Viconia are infected with vampirism only if you've romanced them before going to the final fight with Bodhi.
Valygar's body appears if you kill him instead of taking him into your party, and can be used to open the planar sphere.

Aerie, Jaheira, Viconia, and Anomen will be turned into vampires if you are in an advanced stage of the romance with them. Valygar's body is used to open the Planar Sphere if you killed him.
