I need some serious help before I give up on BGII!!!

I'm one of those people who has to do every quest. However, for some stupid reason I dropped the Sewer Key needed to get into the mind flayers lair. I think I must've thought it was a key for the sewers underneath the Copper Cournet. I have no idea where I dropped it. It could pretty much be anywhere. I really want to go the lair because I want to see how the MFs look since I haven't encountered any since Dark Sun II: Wake of the Ravager (Dark Sun Rules). Does anyone know how I can either edit something to get the key in my inventory or is there a way to find out what map location the key is currently located? I also heard that I could teleport into it. If possible I'd like to find the key though. Oh also, will using any hacks have any effect on anything in the game whatsoever?

Find and download Shadowkeeper. It'll take care of all of your problems. Including your boss.
