What?! People are allowed to LEAVE the island? I thought they were only allowed to be voted off now... God... Things do change quickly... Hey Chrissy, make sure those men in white bring some cookies for me also. In the mean time, I must torture my ice cream out of Weasel..

Really? Image didn't sound so bad the first time you told the story.

Melosh: I think I'll just wait and see what happens. As a writer I happen to knwo you can't just kill a mainchar without major consequences. (look at Omar, he got resurrected...) Since Waverly is one of the mains I'll just sit and wait to see what's coming... (taking the risk of getting killed myself because I'm not a mainchar... Image)

Waverly: I ran into a few friends of this guy at school (they are among the people I know but never want to see again) adn they kept asking questions about what happened. I just told them it wasn'serious and didn't say anything else.
When I was writing soem e-mail today I got a message from my best friend (who e-mails a bit with the guy that kissed) containing themessagehe sent her... As I said never tell women anything they can't tell eachother... especially if its about their best friend...
From this message I got the idea that he was serious... Now I don't know what to do. I'm not gonna call him now or he'll know my friend lied to him and I haven't heard from him directly yet... Image

@Chrissy, you can kill the main character alright. Weren't you the one laughing at Hamlet?

Don't act like it's a problem, and you may find it isn't one. You don't owe this sod any explanation; he probably owes you one. If pressed, just tell him the truth, "not interested." Actually tell that to anyone who presses you, and you can be sure the message will get back to him.

Waverly: The story ended when the mainchar died (or pretty soon afterwards anyway) I don't think Melosh and Weasel like to see this story end that soon... (or I could be wrong)

No I don't owe him anything bu he's an okay kid. I don't want to have to end another friendship because one of the friends fell in love with the other. (I know how he feels, it's not sweet.) And weren't you the one talking about the knife coming out your back after some girl told you she didn't like you that much anymore?
Don't worry I won't lose any sleep over this, but it does make me feel a bit bad and above all stupid, I could have been a lot clearer Saturday night.

I wasn't suggesting you be mean to him, but he bought himself the small bit of rejection he faces. Maybe he even understands that there was a risk of rejection associated with his foreward behaviour.

He sure as hell does... that much I understood from the e-mail my friend let me read... I guess you're right then... He did see it coming... Maybe I should just stop blaming stuff like this on myself... I never gave him any signals, I'm quite sure of that...
But still can't really blame him for trying Image

Nah, can't blame a guy for trying. Especially with girl who lets it go farther than she should have because she thinks the guy is having so much fun. Image

Wow, discussion on Shakespere... Cool! Oh, Waverly, I was one laughing when I saw Leonardo Di*crap*io die at the end of both Romeo and Juliet, and Titanic (Only reason I saw the latter Image ) anyway, Hamlet is an alright play prodeuced by Willy, but I like Macbeth more. Struggle, intrigue, witches... Classic... Ahhh, to live in the days of yore.... Oh! Mine ears hearith the door ringith... I must be off....

And Othello for me! I like Shakespear's comedy better, though. Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew... They are so witty and clever. Image

Not the biggest Leo fan myself, but I thought Titanic was a fine movie.

Good script work, and effects, granted. But, at the same time, what really is the point to seeing a movie that everyone already knows the ending too? Come on, how many have heard about the Titanic? In the end, the boat sinks! There is nothing that can be said or done that would change that! Honestly, though, I did enjoy parts of the movie, and it added a nice story to it, but the only main reason I went was because my girlfriend at the time asked me to. I agreed, and I had a good time with her, but the movie itself was just a quick way for getting an extra few million dollars by playing with the strings of the past, and tugging on memories of Great-grandparents, Grand Parents, and parents. Oh well, I guess there isn't much I can do about the movie industry but accept it...

Thanx weasel. Image

Aegis - I agree with you about Titanic to some extent. The movie did suck, but not just because you *know* the boat will sink (although I bet that revelation shocked some moviegoers Image). It had a poopy story.

I got to movies for the story and the visual & sound elements. Titanic looked good but the story sucked (all I *wanted* to see was the boat sinking Image).

Will you see the upcoming LOTR movies? I presume you know what happens in the end, but you still want to see the movies... Image

We all knew Anakin Skwalker becomes Darth Vader, but we still wanted to see the movie, and it still sucked!

I am in no way comparing Titanic to Episode 1 or LOTR Image
