Because it's skin is so thick that it looses some suppleness. Anything else?

What is so thick hero? the skin, the rhino itself? Be a bit more specific if you're giving biologylessons... LOL

I prefer hippo's over rhino's... they're supposed to be the most visious murderous creatures around...

I think I've heard that hippo's kill the most people annually... (of all wild animals)
