Cars

Post by Weasel »

I saw Ubik post what he drove and figured ,Hey what a great topic to post. Plus this can get the men in white something else to chase me for.

As for me I drive a Iroc 89 tune ported 350 without a chip upgrade with a somewhat jam. Center line rims and a shift kit.

Can you all guess what color I painted it? Image

You dirtbag, you are trying to take the pressure away from the Crissy's nightmare... err, dream object topic, huh? Image

Hey, the color is definitely red! Image

My Golf is black. I put on spoilers and all the good gear, had the engine hacked (a tiny bit Image)
It gives me 150 gooood hp and I enjoy running with 180 on the local freeway (If I attempt to go over that, I sure end up in the E.R. or even worst... you know, roads in Greece are... well, let's not talk about it, don't wanna ruin my country's rep.)

Nope not red.. The cost of insurance is higher on red here in this part of the US.

As for the HP ?? Mine is rated at 192HP... As for how fast... 142MPH once and that was enough. 1/8 mile times 9.20sec at 79MPH.

I've got a bike!!! (it's got flat tyres weekly..)
And a scooter, is that what you call them things in English too? Goes only 45 km/h (okay 70, but officially 45) and helmets are a must or you get a ticket (yes, I know from experience)

It's black and has a loony toons sticker on the front... And my sister always steals it and doesn't fill the tank. (and if the battery is down you gotto kickstart it, in the rain...*sob*)

But I take my bike everywhere. To stay fit. (plus it's cheaper)

Just returned back from a nice bubblepool experience out in town and decided to check if anything new had come up here on the message boards.....what the f**k has happened here???? I haven't been on the board for 5 hours and now things seem to have gotten out of control....
A moderator (Flagg) posts a message wanting to close the sacred "Goody" topic.....
Ubik's up to his normal business....this time on the expense of Chrissy.....
Weasel is talking cookies and asking questions about cars.....
Guys....all of you have I told you just how much I love you all.....this is just too much.... Image
Gruntboy...get over here and bring some sanity to this board... Image

Ohh...and I'll answer your "car poll" Weasel....
I've got a red '91 Toyota Corolla.....only good thing about it is the Mp3-player...and the new "winter" tyres...without the tyres I would really be scr*wed...it's been snowing here for three days in a row so it's starting to pile up......

I own a Xenark Plasmavette. it has a top speed of 85000 mph in normal space. using the hyperdrive it can reach speeds of up to 100 light years per hour. (beat that, Ubik Image) it actually isnt a flying saucer, its more like a flying triangle. where i come from, insurance on saucers is too high. Image (they dont handle very well in atmospheric conditions and most of them crash into Earth.)

@Chrissy- i think the word you're looking for is mo-ped.

Thank you Alienbob and Drakron.

@Ron it will either be a body lift or a suspension lift.. Or it could be both.

Speaking of first cars...Has anyone every seen the movie Corvette Summer. If have that is almost how my first one was. My mom gave me $150.00 when I turned 15 to get my dream car Image 71 Chevy Nova...someone had centered a tree with it.. and the owner was going to turn it into a dirt track racing car. $150.00 later I was the proud owner of this car. By the time I turned 16 my uncle had rebuilt the motor and I had took and put a paint job on it.(It was a spray can paint job at the time...later in life I realized they made spray guns) Yes Brewton,Alabama is one cool town. A grunting pig-mobile, LOL Image

I ride my girlfriend Image

And a 10 year old red Rover diesel. Heh, old thing sounds like a tank.

Why are red cars more expensive to insure in some parts of the US? Doesn't it hide the blood from the gunshot wounds? Image

As the owner of a red car I can also say they are completely invisible to all other vehicles except cop cars. At least thats how I explain cars who calmly pull out 30 feet in front of you when you're doing 45 or 50 miles an hour. Image Either that or its a fiendish plot to make me reform my ways and obey the speed limit! Image

Don't do it T! Although its unfair of me to say that given you have zero tolerance there. Image

Just the other day I did 100mph all the way from London to Newcastle. Our coppers are too lazy (and there are too few) to do anything about. all you have to do is lsow down for the speed cameras (and I know where they all are). Heh. Stupid peelers. Image
